Pet therapy is a hit at Beaconsfield Court
Residents and Colleagues at Beaconsfield Court care home were thrilled on Tuesday to meet their special new therapy dog Pebbles.

Pebbles is a mix between Alsation, Boxer and Terrier and was introduced to Residents by her owner Alan.

Pebbles enjoyed meeting the Residents and having a love and a fuss from everyone and the Residents really responded well to having an animal in the home to stroke.

Animal therapy is proven to reduce stress and anxiety and is a great social activity for our Residents.

Residents comments included:

"I love to see the little doggies in here, they really cheer me up!"

"I wish we could keep her here all the time!"

Everyone is now looking forward to Pebbles next visit!
