Residents enjoyed time with a furry friend today at HC-One’s Maple Lodge care home in Rowley Park, Stafford.
Everyone enjoyed a cuddle and some play time with the home’s resident rabbit.
Iris Andrews, a Resident of the home, said: “He is absolutely gorgeous.”
Animals are a great way to provide comfort to Residents and interacting with a friendly pet produces a calming effect through the release of endorphins, making for a happier care home.
Maple Lodge Home Manager, Sarah Dodd, commented: “It was lovely to see the Residents enjoy spending time with the home’s rabbit today.”
