HC-One’s The Birches Care Home in, Crieff, Perthshire is celebrating having received a glowing report from the Care Inspectorate.
The team at The Birches Care Home were delighted to have received an impressive Care Inspectorate report that rated the home as “Very Good” in the two areas assessed, ‘Care and Support’ and ‘Management and Leadership’.
The inspectors were full of praise for colleagues at The Birches, stating that they observed staff interacting with residents in a calm, caring and respectful manner and that Residents seemed to be very happy – being treated with dignity and respect.
Comments from Relatives of those living at the home included “the staff are understanding and compassionate and we are very grateful for their care and support”, with another stating “the Birches has been absolutely wonderful for my mum, I never thought I would see her so content and settled.”, plus “my relative is allowed to be herself, she is encouraged to be as independent as possible but the care is always there when she requires it.”
