HC-One’s Catmoor House care home in Perth celebrated Burns Night on Friday 25th January.
Burns Night, is a celebration of the life of the bard Robert Burns, born 25th January 1759. The day also commemorates Burns' contribution to Scottish culture, including his best known work, Auld Lang Syne.
Residents enjoyed a day of signing, poetry reciting, entertainment, sampling haggis as well as celebrating the birthday of fellow Resident, Margaret McGregor. A great day was had by all, with everyone commenting on how lovely it was to commemorate the life of Robert Burns.
