Residents at HC-One’s Perry Locks care home were delighted to welcome local drummer, Godfrey, as he performed for them in the home.
A fantastic afternoon was had by all, as Godfrey performed a variety of wonderful musical renditions with his drum, before using instruments with Residents to recreate various sounds, including the sounds of the rainforest.
Residents were mesmerised by the sounds created, as they used the instruments themselves to make other sounds, including Caribbean beats, and dancing along to the music together.
Rebecca Bristow, home manager, commented: “It was a pleasure to see the joy on our Residents faces as they participated in this event, we look forward to welcoming Godfrey to our home again soon.”
