Local Pop up shop called Pensioners in Style came to Meadowbank House care home.
The shop were selling items for Residents to browse and buy and allowed Residents to get some retail therapy in the comfort of the home.
Items on sale included underwear, t-shirts, cardigans, shirts and beautiful necklaces. Residents loved being able to browse in the shop and had fun adding to their summer wardrobe. 10% of any money that the shop had made on that day was given back to the home to use for the Residents.
There was a battle of the cardigans as Lily and Irene both had their eye on a striking blue number but in the end, Lily won and proudly bought the piece.
Residents are looking forward to the next time Pensioners in Style pop in to get their next shopping fix!
