Penrith home enjoys World Book Day activitiesResidents from HC-One’s Croft Avenue took part in some World Book Day activities on Tuesday as they were visited by children from Morland School.

The children, who were all dressed up, took part in activities, played games and sang songs with the Residents before sitting down to chat with them. The children were so excited to visit the home and the Residents really enjoyed it.

Morland School visit the home every week, so the Residents are getting to know the children really well.

‘It is lovely that the same children come in every week, we are really getting to know them well’, said one of the Residents.

The Croft Avenue Residents loved seeing the children from reception all dressed up.

‘It is lovely that the children visit us regularly, it makes the Residents day’, said Croft Avenue Home Manager, Teresa McGuiness.
