Residents from HC-One’s Winters Park care home in Penrith enjoyed a lovely day out to the port town of Silloth on Wednesday 3rd July.
A group of four Residents from Winters Park headed to Silloth for a sunny day at seaside, everyone enjoyed a stroll before a picnic in the park followed by a delicious ice cream treat.
Residents reminisced about visiting Silloth with their families in their younger days and shared happy memories of their favourite days on the beach and seaside destinations they have visited.
Winters Park Home Manager, Susan Thompson commented: “What a lovely day, everyone had such a great time and were in high spirits on their return to Winters Park. Our Residents are already looking forward to their next trip out.”
