Pendleton Court is alive with the sound of music Residents at Pendleton Court care home in Salford, Manchester enjoyed an afternoon filled with singing, dancing and laughter as the home took part in Manchester’s first dementia-friendly music festival.

The festival celebrates the creativity of people living with dementia, encouraging them to express themselves through the medium of music.

Residents chose their favourite percussion instruments, including drums, tambourines and maracas as they played along to the music.

Roisin Doyle, Home Manager at Pendleton Court, said: “It was lovely to see so many smiling faces as Residents joined in with the musical extravaganza. We can’t wait to introduce more activities like this into our activities calendar in the future.”
