The staff at
Glanffrwd residential and nursing care home, in Bridgend have donated food and cosmetics items to the local food bank.
Colleagues at Glanffrwd have been working together to collect for their local community and dropped off the items. One of the local schools was the drop off point for the food bank.
The schools’ administrator and two children from the school were there to receive the items. They were very pleased with the donations and commented, “Thank you all so much for your kind generosity.”
Joan Thomas, Care Home Manager, said, “What a wonderful thing to do. I am very proud of my team.”
