Residents at HC-One’s
Needham Court care home in Jarrow were delighted to welcome a new four-legged companion to their home, the form of interactive stuffed therapy dog.
The interactive therapy pet is designed to interact like a real-life dog, bringing comfort and companionship to the Residents at Needham Court. Everyone agreed to name their new friend, Jet and have all commented on how soft his fur is and how much they love playing with his ears.
Needham Court Home Manager, Joann Mills said: “It’s wonderful to see our Residents interacting with Jet, he has already brought so much happiness and will be a cherished member of our community.”
Located on Stanhope Road, Needham Court offers short and long term care packages for older members of the community needing residential or residential dementia care.
