Park House celebrates National Bird Box WeekPark House celebrates National Bird Box Week

Residents at Park House care home in Guisborough were delighted to do their bit for the local wildlife during National Bird Box week.

Arthur, a Resident at Park House, is particularly fond of birds, having been a member of the RSPB for many years, and was therefore delighted to hear the home was taking part in the event.

Park House had two new nesting boxes made, which Arthur helped to prepare with Handyman Stuart.

Arthur can see the nesting boxes from his room, so he is keen to see the birds flying to and from the new habitat.

One Resident commented: “I love the new bird boxes and can’t wait to see more beautiful birds visiting our garden.”

Julie Woods, Home Manager at Park House, said: “We were delighted to get involved with National Bird Box week, especially when our Residents have shown such a keen interest in the wildlife visiting our garden. Arthur was overjoyed to take part in this initiative, and it was lovely to see him so happy.”
