Residents enjoyed pancake day excitement at HC-One’s Branston Court care home as they enjoyed an afternoon of pancake flipping.
Everyone took turns to flip their own pancakes as laughter was shared from the fond memories they each mentioned about their younger days of celebrating pancake day with their families.
Residents spoke about their favourite toppings to put onto their pancakes as they enjoyed a flipping competition, developing friendly rivalry between one another as they each tried to flip the most pancakes.
Pauline Gardiner, home manager, commented: “Residents enjoyed themselves this afternoon. It’s been lovely to see everyone in the competitive spirit and enjoying flipping their pancakes.”
