Three members of the care team at HC-One’s Hillside View care home in Glenburn, Paisley attended NHS Nutrition Champion training to enhance their skills and gain new ideas on how to provide nutritious and delicious meal options for Residents.
Andrew Deery, Carolyn McFadyen and Yolande Foode took part in a five month training scheme organised by the NHS, which provides insight into nutrition and providing healthy mealtime options.
The team members enjoyed the course and recently completed their training, making them newly appointed ‘Nutrition Champions’, Carolyn said that she found the course to be very informative and all three agree that they are looking forward to putting what they have learned into practice at Hillside View.
Going forward, Andrew, Carolyn and Yolande will be ensuring that every Resident’s nutritional needs are met as well as making sure that everyone has a positive dining experience.
