Painting competition winners of Buckinghamshire care homeThroughout the first two weeks of September, Highclere care home in Milton Keynes held a painting competition for the Residents.

All entries were displayed on the wall so everyone at the home could vote for the winner via a number which was placed it in a voting box; this way only the Activities Coordinator knew whose picture was whose.

Highclere had a total of12 entries for the competition! And every Resident that took part said that they really enjoyed it.

The voting took place over two weeks and then they were all counted up to determine the first and second place.

Both winners Joyce Wickes and Ellen Klockner (both pictured) were presented with a certificate and a small gift. They were very surprised that they had won.

Ellen was over the moon she had won and sent photos to her family to show them.
