Residents at HC-One’s Greatwood House Care Home in Denton recently enjoyed a visit from some furry friends. The rescue owls were brought in by a handler who explained how each one was rescued and what type of owls they were. He also gave the residents a talk about the owl’s personalities and how to handle them. They were then taken around the home to visit the residents that couldn’t make the talk.
Home Manager, Joanne Kelly said: “The residents really enjoyed their furry visitors, animals are always popular visitors and it’s great to see them up close. We knew that having the rescue owls here would be great fun and it was a great activity for some of the people who may not be able to get out and about as much.”
