Outdoor visits from The Cambridge care homeSince the middle of July, outdoor visits were permitted at this Cambridgeshire home which meant Residents and Relatives could have what they wanted so eagerly; to see each other in person rather than from a device.

Before this, the beloved “Magic Mirror” tablets were the best way of communicating directly.

Everything is changing and now with the new guidelines; Residents and Relatives can see each other in person at a distance of two meters.

The garden visits have been a huge success and Relatives have been incredibly thankful and kind to the team.

Senior Activities Coordinator, Ines Raposo, said, “Garden visits are a great way to provide some emotional relief to everyone that has been holding onto their fears and worries in the last months”.
