Since the middle of July, outdoor visits were permitted at this Cambridgeshire home which meant Residents and Relatives could have what they wanted so eagerly; to see each other in person rather than from a device.
Before this, the beloved “Magic Mirror” tablets were the best way of communicating directly.
Everything is changing and now with the new guidelines; Residents and Relatives can see each other in person at a distance of two meters.
The garden visits have been a huge success and Relatives have been incredibly thankful and kind to the team.
Senior Activities Coordinator, Ines Raposo, said, “Garden visits are a great way to provide some emotional relief to everyone that has been holding onto their fears and worries in the last months”.
