Residents from HC-One’s Harley Grange care home in Leicester enjoyed a visit to the National Space Centre on Thursday 18th September.
Catherine Ryan, a Resident at Harley Grange expressed her wish to visit the National Space Centre, so the team organised a day trip which was also attended by several other Residents.
The group explored the centre, experienced their overhead theatre show, went up into the tower and had lots of fun. Bill Hemming, another Resident and former engineer loved learning about all of the technical aspects of space travel.
After a fun-filled day everyone headed back to Harley Grange, the group also received annual passes so that they can return again when they want to.
