Oswestry Care Home resident makes a card fit for a King95 year old former RAF veteran, David Housden from Bluebell View Care Home in Shropshire came up with a wonderful idea to hand craft a Christmas card for his majesty King Charles and Queen Camilla.

David set about making his festive creation during Bluebell View’s Craft session and decided the card was so wonderful, he was ging to send it straight to the Palace.

David Housden said,
“I admire and have a great respect for the royal family as they were the ceremonial head of the Armed Services and fastidiously tied to public duty. They make Britain Great!  And this card is fit for the King!”

Beverly Sterry, wellbeing coordinator at Bluebell View said,
“David is an ardent Royalist and wrote a lovely note inside the card for the Royal Couple. He showed his humour and twinkle in his eye when he wrote that he was in a home for ‘oldies’.”

David, with the help of Beverly, posted the card to Buckingham Palace and are eagerly awaiting a response.
