Residents at HC-One’s Croft Avenue care home in Penrith were delighted when one of their favourite entertainers hosted an online concert for all to enjoy.
Paul Robinson was a regular entertainer at Croft Avenue before COVID-19 restrictions stopped his visits to the home, but he kindly offered to host an online concert via Zoom for Residents to watch.
He performed a variety of hits from Frank Sinatra, Johnny Cash and John Denver as well as taking request from Residents who watched the online performance. Everyone enjoyed watching Paul sing again and said it was the highlight of their week, one Resident said: “I can’t wait till Paul can come and visit us again.”
Croft Avenue Home Manager, Teresa McGuiness said: “Thank you to Paul for putting on such a wonderful show for our Residents, we are all looking forward to the day you can visit us at Croft Avenue once again.
