Today was an important one for Resident Jean at Ashgrove care home, not only was it her birthday but she got to see her daughter Jayne for the first time in 14 weeks.
Jean and Jayne have kept in touch via phone and letters over the last few months but of course this isn’t quite the same as being face-to-face.
The day began with Jean being delivered the most beautiful bunch of flowers from her grandson and then a pile of cards waited to be opened. The visit from daughter Jayne was simply the icing on the cake!
Jean commented, “This is the best birthday gift I could have had. Now I can’t wait to see my son”.
Wellbeing Coordinator, Jayne Pearson, said, “Jean and Jayne were so happy together, it was just lovely to see”.
