On your marks, get set…! Residents enjoy snail racing at Grimsby care homeResidents at Clarendon Hall care home in Grimsby enjoyed an afternoon of ‘snail racing’ following an exciting crafts session in the home.

Everyone had the opportunity of making their very own cardboard snail, which they painted in bright racing colours.

The four finalists in the snail race were Slow Joe, Speedy Gonzales, Rod-read-fast and Snail Away. Tensions were high as Residents raced their snails, with Snail Away crossing the finishing line first, who was proudly trained by Norman.

Residents loved the activity, with Jean commenting: “The snail race was very different and lots of fun.”
