Residents and Colleagues at Warrens Hall recently put on their dancing shoes when a Bollywood dancer came to perform at the home.
Bollywood music played as everyone wore traditional garments around their waists and danced together, repeating the dancers moves.
Residents thoroughly enjoyed the experience of doing something so unique,and being able to learn more about Indian culture as the dancer spoke to them afterwards.
The day was made even more special as it was a Resident’s 90th birthday, and her Relatives were able to attend the wonderful occasion and take part in the dancing.
Kalmit Jagpal, Home Manager, commented: “It’s been a fabulous day and a fantastic time had by all, everyone was able to enjoy the experience of trying something new and it was wonderful to celebrate one of our Resident’s milestone birthdays.”
