Oldbury care home prepares to celebrate the power of artHC-One’s Dingle Meadow care home in Oldbury is busy preparing to open its doors for the seventh annual Care Home Open Day and have invited the local community to take part in their creative celebrations.

On Friday 28th June, Dingle Meadow will host a fun-filled event, with music, entertainment, art-based activities, as well as refreshments and cakes.

Guests of all ages will have the opportunity to take part in  art competition, with all creative pieces being judged on the day. Winners from the competition will be entered into the national HC-One art competition.

Emma Cuttress, Home Manager at Dingle Meadow commented: “Care Home Open Day is an important date in our diary and we look forward to welcoming new faces into the home. It’s an opportunity for our Residents to forge new relationships and show guests around our happy home.

“This year’s creativity theme is a perfect fit and we can showcase how art is a fantastic way for our Residents to improve their health and wellbeing in a number of different ways.”
