Residents and colleagues of Oakland Care Home in Rochdale recently took advantage of the early autumnal weather to take a trip to local Hollingworth Lake.
There's lots to do for everyone at this local attraction from guided walks, special events, crafts and outdoor activities.
Residents were able to enjoy the visitor centre which has a permanent exhibition of local wildlife and heritage, a gallery of artists work,the visited the small shop,before popping to the café where they enjoyed lunch before taking advantage of the small beer garden to enjoy the great outdoors.
