On 2nd May, Colleagues and Residents at
Oak Tree Mews care home, in Moreton-in-Marsh, which offers residential care, came together for a barbecue to remember one of their very special Residents.
Home Manager, Clare Coombes and Cook, Stephen organised a barbecue and drinks to remember their dear friend and Resident Paul’s 100th birthday, who had sadly passed away.
Paul’s sons and daughters were invited to the get-together and were really touch that the home had gone to such an effort; there as even some music played featuring Paul’s favourite songs, and many joined in to sing.
Tim, one of Paul’s sons, commented, “Super atmosphere, lovely people, great singer and what an excellent idea. It is a beautiful gesture.”
Clare added, “Paul was an important member of our home and we felt we couldn’t let the day go without giving him his 100th party and remembering him.”
