Nottinghamshire Residents spread love and warmth this cold Valentine’s DayLove was in the air this very cold Valentine’s Day over at HC-One’s Berry Hill Park care home in Mansfield as Residents told stories about their loved ones.

Residents were treated to a live stream performance by swing and jazz singer Jayne Darling who sang beautiful love songs from the 1940s and 50s. Residents sang along to their favourite lyrics and some even got up to have a little dance.

Later on, Residents enjoyed a Valentine’s-themed buffet spread with heart-shaped sandwiches, Valentine’s biscuits, jam tarts and a beautiful homemade cake. They laughed and shared stories while they ate about their fondest romantic memories.

Berry Hill Park Care Assistant, Dawn Ellis, commented: “A lovely bright and cheerful day. There was a lot of love in the air.”
