Colleagues at HC-One’s Acacia care home in Nottingham decorated the home in Union Jack buntings and provided masks and fancy dress for Residents to enjoy on the Queen’s birthday.
Residents also enjoyed a classic afternoon tea, with scones, sandwiches and some lovely tea and coffee on offers, as well as some beautiful tea cakes.
Every one then reminisced about the Royal Weddings they have witness, coronations and everything else associated with Royalty. Many Residents have seen the Queen in real life and really admire what she has done over her reign.
Residents really enjoyed the celebrations and the set out of the tables and decorations, one Resident even joked that they felt like they were in The Ritz Hotel.
