Born in Arnold, Nottinghamshire, on March 18, 1935, Rita Bardsley has experienced a remarkable life story of elegance, resilience, and a knack for numbers that made her a darts legend among friends.
Rita’s career sparkled as brightly as the woman herself. She spent years working in fashion retail before bringing her flair to the world of beauty with Estee Lauder.
Off the clock, Rita was a force to be reckoned with at the dartboard, dazzling onlookers with her sharp aim and even sharper mental math skills – adding up scores with the precision of a pro.
Married to her beloved husband Derek, Rita built a beautiful life filled with love and family. Though Derek sadly passed away last year, his memory lives on through their daughter, Kim, and son, Nigel, who join the Fosse Way View community in celebrating their mother’s incredible milestone.
Surrounded by friends, family, and fellow residents, Rita’s 90th birthday is a testament to a life well-lived at Fosse Way View.
