HC-One’s Northview Lodge Care Home in Castletown have received an outstanding report in their recent CQC inspection as well as within three domains: Well Led, Responsive and Caring.
Due to this result, the home organised a party for the Residents, the local community, families, professionals and staff to celebrate together.
The outside area of Northview Lodge was decorated with balloons, bunting and flowers and an inflatable bouncy castle, rodeo bull, bungee run and sumo suits were all organised for everyone to enjoy.
The home went all out to ensure that everyone had a great day, with entertainment in the form of two singers, a magician and a face painter as well as a photo booth with props. Two of the Residents enjoyed running a mocktail bar and there was also Prosecco on offer.
The kitchen staff put on a fabulous barbeque with an amazing array of choices, including a dessert table.

Residents all commented on what a fantastic day they’ve had with the highlights being, watching the staff on the bull, getting to interact with the children and feeling like one big family, commenting:
“It’s a Friday I will never forget, it was so much fun.”
