At Wombwell Hall care home in Kent, everyone celebrated Halloween with a fun day for Residents.
The day started with fancy dress for Colleagues and Residents. They had a number of different costumes across the home from little “dead riding hood”, to witches, a shark and a dead rag doll.
Residents enjoyed a morning of trick-or-treat trollies and got lots of sweet treats. In the afternoon they enjoyed a Halloween party with different games from ‘Pin the wart on a witch’ to ‘Poke a pumpkin’, while listening to party music.
Residents had a wonderful day and went all out with costumes and taking part. The office managers even got involved with the games and the Residents loved it.
David, who lives at Wombwell, remarked, “This has been a brilliant day, I haven't laughed this much in a long time!”
Another Resident added, “"A lot of work has been put into today, it is really lovely and shows how much you care for us".
Beckie Condie, Home Manager, said, “Definitely an experience to remember!"
