Residents at HC-One’s Wombwell Hall care home have enjoyed a crafty afternoon as they took part in creating bird feeders for the home’s garden.
Using drinks bottles, the Residents decorated their bird feeders by using paper mache and painting them with their favourite colours.
Residents have enjoyed being artistic during this activity and look forward to seeing the birds gather at the feeders they have created.
Everyone then sat to enjoy afternoon tea and cakes as they watched at the window for the birds.
One Resident remarked: “It’s very enjoyable to take part in arts and crafts like this, using paper mache was great and brought back memories of being at school again.”
