Residents and Colleagues at Wombwell Hall came together to celebrate the 60th wedding anniversary of Resident Sylvia and her husband, Ken.
In their honour, a tea party was held providing various sweet treats and refreshments, alongside a delicious and beautifully decorated cake made by home’s very own chef.
The couple were so happy with the celebrations, and their daughter was extremely pleased with what was done for her parents, and thanked the staff greatly for the effort that was made to ensure they had a wonderful day.
Cathy Veerigadu, Home Manager, commented: “it’s wonderful to see such a lovely couple still in love after 60 years.” The Residents also loved the atmosphere of the day, and everyone was able to finish the party with a celebratory glass of Prosecco to toast the happy couple.
