Residents at HC-One’s Redesdale Court Care Home in North Shields took full advantage of the long summer by hosting an action packed summer fair for the local community.
Friends and family flocked to Redesdale Court for the seasonal celebrations, taking part in a raffle, tombola, hook the duck and face painting, whilst enjoying tempting refreshments to keep cool in the heat.
A sponsored chest waxing from the Head Chef Carl also took place, as well as entertainment from the fabulous Christine who sang a wide range of songs for everyone to enjoy.
And what summer fair is complete without a barbeque? Residents, Relatives and Colleagues all had a great day and an incredible £849 was raised for the Resident’s comfort fund.
