Newton Aycliffe care home Residents show support for key workersResidents from HC-One’s St. Clare’s Court care home in Newton Aycliffe have written messages of support to display on their windows, alongside some wonderful rainbow art, to show their support to the key workers and their local community.

Everyone had a lovely afternoon and spent time thinking about messages of support they wanted to send out into the community and to all at St Clare’s Court.

One St Clare’s Court Resident said: “We all appreciate the staff and everyone outside the home who are all fighting this terrible virus.”

As they were creating their artwork, Residents treated to an Andre Rieu concert and a cheese and wine afternoon to lighten up the mood.

St Clare’s Court Home Manager Helen Emerson said: “It was delightful to see our residents coming together and enjoying the concert at his difficult time. It was lovely to see the community spirit in the home. We wanted to connect with the outside community so displayed our colourful messages and pictures in front of the home.
