HC-One’s St Clare’s Court care home in Newton Aycliffe welcomed children from local primary school, Woodham Burn on Thursday 19th December for a festive singalong.
Woodham Burn pupils visited Residents at St Clare’s Court to perform traditional carols and Christmas songs, everyone loved listening to the children sing and Residents enjoyed speaking with the children after the performance and finding out what they have asked Santa for this year.
It was a wonderful day for all, one Resident commented: “I just love to listen to children singing, their voices are beautiful and brings back happy memories of watching my children sing when they were younger.”
Michelle Jones, St Clare’s Court Home Manager said: “Thank you to the lovely children and teachers from Woodham Burn for taking the time to visit us in the run up to Christmas, St Clare’s Court is now filled with Christmas cheer.”
