Residents and team members at HC-One’s Defoe Court care home in Newton Aycliffe were delighted to receive generous donation from the staff at their local Tesco store.
A delicious selection of fresh cream cakes were donated to Defoe Court by the team at Tesco in Newton Aycliffe which were served to Residents during their Mother’s Day high tea on Sunday 22nd March.
One Resident commented: “What a lovely selection of cakes, it’s nice to see the community coming together during these uncertain times.”
Defoe Court Home Manager, Sarah Todd said: “On behalf of everyone at Defoe Court, I would like to thank the wonderful team at Tesco in Newton Aycliffe for their very kind and thoughtful gesture.”
