HC-One’s Orchard Mews care home in Benwell, Newcastle-upon-Tyne raised funds for BBC’s Children in Need on Friday 15th November.
BBC Children in Need hosts a yearly appeal night where people across the UK raise money which is donated to projects for disadvantaged children and young people. Children in Need is currently supporting over 3,000 charities and projects throughout the UK.
The team wore Children in Need outfits and Pudsey ears whilst encouraging their Colleagues and visitors to donate. Everyone had a wonderful time raising money for Children in Need and watching the live show on BBC in the evening.
Nicola Coulson, Home Manager at Orchard Mews said: “Thank you to everyone who donated and helped us to raise awareness of this worthy cause, we raised £50 which will go towards helping disadvantaged children throughout the UK.”
