Newark Care Home Raises Over £150 with Macmillan Coffee Morning

Residents, staff and community members gathered at Kings Court care home in Newark for a Macmillan Coffee Morning, where they raised £184 for Macmillan Cancer Support.

The Kings Court kitchen team provided delicious, homemade cakes and treats for the occasion, which were thoroughly enjoyed by all in attendance.

88-year-old Kings Court resident Marion Cole said, ‘It was such a lovely morning, and I really enjoyed meeting people from the community.’

Kings Court’s Home Manager, Tarnya Fairburn, added, ‘We’re constantly in awe of the support of our community in Newark. Our residents and team members are always looking for ways we can help others, and we can count on our neighbours to join us every time.

‘Thank you to all who came along to fundraise for this worthy charity.’
