Bluebell View Care Home, a new £12 million state-of-the-art luxury care home, has welcomed a specialist Manager with over 20 years of frontline healthcare experience to oversee its launch.
Michelle Middleton-Price will join the 80-bedroom care home when it opens in Oswestry this winter. As a registered nurse with additional specialisms in dementia care, Michelle will share her extensive healthcare experience to drive best practice for members of the community receiving residential, nursing and dementia care.
Having entered the NHS as a domestic assistant at the age of 19, Michelle has progressed through the full spectrum of practical and leadership healthcare roles. She will apply this direct experience to guide more than 90 staff who will work at Bluebell View Care Home.
Michelle has previously managed four homes across the country and has an impressive track record of driving excellence for new and existing homes alike. In 2016, she was responsible for transforming an ‘inadequate’ CQC rated home to achieve ‘good’ ratings in all areas within 18 months.
Michelle closely shares HC-One’s vision in aiming to provide the kindest care for each and every resident. She extends this caring approach to her colleagues and works closely with them to deliver care and support to residents in a way that they gain the most benefit, in a warm and welcoming home.
