Residents at HC-One’s Fleming Court Care Home in Jesmond were thrilled to taste the chef’s new menu.
Joan Spearman, Beryl Hewitt, Joyce Wyllie, Ruth Nicholson, Cecily Swan and her daughter Gillian Swan sat down to enjoy their meal; chicken in a pepper sauce, followed by pasta carbonara and finished with apple pie and custard.
Everyone enjoyed all three meals, but their stand out favourite was the chicken main course, commenting:
“The food was presented really well and we really enjoyed the Chef’s choice of menu.”
Before each meal, the Chef visited the table and explained to everyone about the food he was serving.
