HC-One’s Stoneleigh Care Home in Stanley, County Durham enjoy a performance from a new entertainer, Alfie Dobson.
Stoneleigh wanted to try a new entertainer for the Residents and everyone was over the moon with his performance.
Alife sang a wide range of songs, from the war up to the 80’s. He was a massive hit with the Residents as he got them thinking by asking them if they knew whom the next song was sung by, ensuring that he was interacting with everyone.
Everyone had a fantastic time, clapping their hands, singing along, dancing and banging on the tambourines.
Residents loved Alfie’s performance and made comments such as ‘it was a brilliant afternoon, we’ll definitely have him again!’, ‘he played music that we all liked’ and ‘I thought it was going to be Alfie Boe, but I’m so pleased it wasn’t!’
The experience was such a positive one that Stoneleigh have booked him in for their Christmas party.
