Residents from HC-One’s Stoneleigh Care Home in Stanley, County Durham, enjoyed an afternoon of singing and dancing thanks to new entertainer, Mark Hodgson.
Originally, Home Manager Susan Dodds and Home Administrator Yvonne Robertson saw Mark perform at Beaconsfield Court in Barnard Castle and were really impressed with him, so asked him if he would perform for the Residents at Stoneleigh.
Luckily, he agreed and he was fantastic, the Residents were up dancing and singing along all afternoon. He also interacted with the Residents, which they really enjoyed and thought was a nice touch.
Residents loved singing along with Mark, he’s promised to come back and everyone is already looking forward to it. One Resident commented:
“What a nice man he is and a really good singer.”
