HC-One Trafalgar Park Care Home in Nelson recently presented long service awards to two members of staff who between them have consistently worked at the Home for 36 years.
Julie Link who is currently in the Domestic Team has worked at the Home for 19 years and Mary Baber who is a Carer has been at the Home for 17 years. Both Mary and Julie talk fondly about Trafalgar Park as being their second Home and the Residents as being part of their extended families.
Christine Karanja-Jones who is the Home Manager commented “we have a number of staff who have worked here for a long time but Julie and Mary are such wonderful role models and are an inspiration for new members of the staff team. I am very lucky to have such committed and loyal members of staff who all contribute with such kindness to the Residents”.
The Home recently achieved a score of 9.8 (out of 10) with reviews sent to Carehome.co.uk from past and existing Residents and their families which is one of the highest scoring ratings in Caerphilly Borough.

HC-One Trafalgar Park Care Home provides residential and residential dementia care. Residents are able to make use of all the facilities including a courtyard garden, treatment room and hair salon.
