A group young people have been busy supporting Priory Gardens care home in Pontefract – part of HC-One, the kind care company – by hosting a fundraising event and helping to transform the home’s garden.
The National Citizens Society volunteers have been working hard to support Priory Gardens as one of their local care homes by raising funds for the home and completing a garden project to help make the home’s garden a more relaxing and welcoming space for Residents and visitors.
Residents at the home have been delighted with the work of the young people and thanked them for all of their time and support, everyone has commented on how lovely the garden looks since the group helped paint and plant flowers.
Tamsin Ryan, Home Manager at Priory Gardens commented: “We are very appreciative of the support we have received from the National Citizens Society, it was a pleasure to meet such a caring and generous group of young people.”
