Musician David Jones pays a visit to Cradlehall Care HomeHC-One’s Cradlehall Care Home in Inverness welcomed musician David Jones into their home last week who is currently carrying out Song Cycle.

Musician David Jones is travelling a thousand miles from John O’Groats to Lands End on his Brompton folding bike, giving performances of Vaughan William’s Song of Travel along the way.

Song Cycle is raising awareness of Yehudi Menuhin’s charity Live Music Now, which works to bring live music to people living with dementia.

David changed out of his cycling gear into his dinner suit to enjoy a sing-a-long to Vaughn Williams Songs of Travel. Cradlehall then laid out a lunch for David to enjoy with the Residents, family and the team at Cradlehall, before setting off on the next stage of the Song Cycle.
