Musical marvel at Oxfordshire care home Residents at Thamesfield care home, recently enjoyed a visit from Harry Kersley, a renowned operatic tenor who brought the house down with his magnificent voice.

Harry originally began his musical journey in The Royal College of Music Gap Year Experience Program, where he then went on to study as an undergraduate at the local Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance.

He has recently been on television as he judged on the BBC programme ‘All Together Now’ and has been a popular favourite of Thamesfield Residents ever since.

He impressed everyone with performances from different opera's including ‘Tosca’ and also songs from various well-loved musicals which included a stunning performance of ‘Empty Chairs and Empty Tables’ from Les Miserables which brought tears to many eyes.

There was a huge round of applause after his wonderful finale of ‘Nessun Dorma’ as Residents were amazed with his breath-taking performance.

One Resident remarked: “he was wonderful to listen to, just marvellous. He really is so talented and we hope to see him again as his fame grows.”
