Musical fun for Ashgrove ResidentsMusic was all around at Ashgrove care home as Residents and Colleagues enjoyed the sounds of a ukelele band.

The band attended the home, consisting of ukelele players and a lady playing music with spoons, and Residents enjoyed joining in as they played their own musical instruments to accompany the band, with some Residents opting to play bells and others using whistles.

Residents enjoyed singing songs both old and new, remarking how wonderful it was to take part.

Home manager, Julie Jones, commented: “The band was wonderful, they encouraged Residents to sing loud and proud, and they enjoyed joining in with playing some instruments of their own.”
