Residents at Daneside Mews got their dancing shoes on when local company, Musical Moments, visited the home.
Musical Moments is an organisation that provides music sessions for groups in the community, specifically care homes.
It was a fun filled hour of entertainment as Residents and their Relatives joined together to play games and musical activities alongside their favourite old songs. Everyone enjoyed singing along to the music as they got up to dance.
The games were a highlight for Residents as they enjoyed the atmosphere the music created for the activities, with one Resident commenting: “I enjoy dancing and singing along to my favourite songs. It really brightens my day.”
Joanne Farrell, Home Manager, also commented: “a lovely afternoon was had by all, Residents and their Relatives had plenty of fun and everyone was able to join in with the exciting activities.”
