Residents at Birmingham’s residential, nursing and residential dementia care home,
Hodge Hill Grange, have been teaming up with Colleagues to learn musical instruments.
Sarah, Wellbeing Coordinator, who is pictured, is new to the role but has thrown herself into the role and has started up music lessons. Sarah is teaching Rita and Keith how to play the ukulele.
Rita and Keith, both pictured, thoroughly enjoyed the session. Rita commented, “I love it! It’s very good and Sarah is the best teacher!”
Linda Sturdy, Care Home Manager, commented, “It was lovely to see them playing the ukulele and for Sarah to be teaching them what a wonderful idea!”
